How did it all start?

What started as a hobby quickly became a passion. I created my first bag in Cala d'Or, and before the business even officially existed, that very first bag found its forever home the moment it was finished. That spark grew into Hooked by Kharis, an independent Scottish brand creating handmade pieces designed to be loved, worn and seen.

Every collection is thoughtfully designed with one goal to create statement pieces that bring together craftsmanship, creativity and timeless style.

More than just crochet

At Hooked by Kharis, we don't believe handmade should mean outdated.

Every design is created to feel fashion-forward, elevated and unique. From signature handbags and limited-edition drops to custom creations and everyday accessories, every product is carefully considered from the first stitch to the final package.

Unlike mass-produced fashion, our collections are intentionally small. That means fewer products, more attention to detail and bags you'll be proud to carry for years to come.

Meet the maker 

Hiya, I’m Kharis, just one normal girl with a big dream to make my little business work. I’m the one behind most of Hooked by Kharis.  From designing new collections and sourcing materials to crocheting every stitch, photographing products, packing every order, replying to your messages and preparing for markets

Although I have always had help from people closest to me, such as my mum and sister, helping get orders to customers, giving me endless motivation and driving me to where I need to be. That is, if my personal taxi/boyfriend isn’t around, Lewis is the driver that single-handedly allows me to hand-deliver my creations for my local customers.

Meet Sophdoessocials!

My name is Sophie, and I am a content creator specialising in video/photo content for businesses, events, BTS content and more!

While HBK is busy handcrafting every bag with love, sophdoessocials is the creative queen behind the screen, from filming and editing video content to designing eye-catching posts and styling photo shoots for new bag drops.

Soph brings so much energy and creativity to our content days, and I'm so grateful to have her along for the ride. While she helps bring the brand to life online, every product itself is still designed, crocheted, finished and quality checked by me.

Every order represents hours of work, countless stitches and genuine care, something that simply can't be achieved through mass production.
